2020-Starz is founded after Miss Charlotte spent 10 years excelling in the industry

 

2023-

-Purchased a 20 acre farm to continue expanding our programming

-Completely renovated our fencing system and removed the dangerous electric fencing

-Installed automatic waterers for clean and continuous water for our horses

-Started hosting Girl Scout troops

-Started partnership with Detroit Horsepower

2024-

-Added heat to the arena to participate year round. 

-Constructed lean to sheds for our horses

-Started a school program with Keys Grace Academy

 

2025-

-Hosted our first Balance in the Barn holistic event

-Continued our long time partnership with Camp Casey serving kids with cancer and other terminal illnesses

 

2026-

-Purchased our own Yanmar tractor for farm maintenance

-Partnership with Meridian Health Substance Abuse and Addiction program began

-Partnership grown with Kalasho Education and Mindgarden programs

-Partnership with Love For A Child foster youth program

-Partnered with Local Equestrian Teams to offer space to practice

-Visited Senior Assisted Living and Memory Care for Derby Day

SOON: Installation of 40x80 Hay Storage and Pole Barn, Installation of Big Arena Fans

 

In 2027, we hope to draw up plans for construction our equine community center building, which will house summer camps, allow options for Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech Therapists to run sessions before utilizing equine connections, as well as offering enrichment such as music classes, yoga classes, and open sensory gym time. We are also directly working on a homeschool pilot program and introducing community sessions within our local library in addition to a designated Veteran's PTSD program and a space for a licensed mental health specialist to be able to offer Equine Assisted Psychotherapy.

Tickets are $50 for presale (until October 31) and $60 from 11/1-11/7 and $25 for children 5 and under. Your ticket includes a buffet-style meal, dessert table, horses and other farm animal meet, kid's craft station, sensory station provided by Collaboration Station, face painting, photo station, corn hole, beginner line dance lessons and open dance floor, silent auction, and a bonfire. **Because our event does not have a liquor license, alcohol will not be supplied at the event, however patrons are welcome to bring their own beverages and drink responsibly.** Join us in celebrating our 2026 Star Student, Eve Sours, and hear about how horses have impacted her life!
